Start freediving with Coach Reham in Bahrain through a safe, encouraging pathway toward AIDA 1 & 2. No scuba gear, just calm breath, water confidence, and proper freediving basics.

Learn the ocean without rushing it.

Freediving teaches young people how to stay relaxed, move efficiently, and respect the sea. The first course focuses on breath awareness, equalization basics, buddy habits, water comfort, and simple skills that make every pool and beach day feel more controlled.

AIDA 1 & 2 route

Ready students continue toward AIDA certification steps with clear expectations and supervised training.

A serious sport, introduced gently.

AIDA courses are not about pushing young people to hold their breath for longer. The value is learning safety, relaxation, equalization, and how to train with a buddy before any deeper goal matters.

Ages 6 to 15 can join a youth introduction and preparation track. AIDA certification is normally for 18+, or 16 to 17 with parent or guardian consent and coach approval.

AIDA 1: first freediver

A beginner-friendly introduction for students who are comfortable in the water and ready to learn proper freediving habits.

  • Breathing, relaxation, and safe preparation before a dive.
  • Basic equalization, duck dive, finning, and surface recovery.
  • Buddy awareness, signals, and why nobody freedives alone.
  • Pool and open-water skills at a controlled, confidence-building pace.

AIDA 2: foundation certificate

The next step for older teens and adults who want a structured certification path with deeper theory and supervised performance standards.

  • Freediving physiology, pressure, buoyancy, and equipment choices.
  • Static apnea, dynamic apnea, and constant-weight open-water practice.
  • Rescue basics, blackout prevention, and safer buddy procedures.
  • Clear readiness checks before moving beyond introductory depth.
